Jim Pruitt—President Jim Pruitt, president of Lyons Pruitt International, made his first placement in the fall of 1975. In 1984, he founded FAXS (First Atlantic Executive Search), which later became Simon & Pruitt after collaborating with Maggi Simon. In 1996, Simon & Pruitt merged with Lyons Associates.
Specializing in financial services, Jim focuses in the corporate finance, accounting, credit, risk and marketing disciplines, and recruiting at all levels up to the C-levels. Jim's clients include Fortune 500 financial service leaders, as well as smaller regional and community banks.
Viewing recruiting as an art, his favorite quote is, "to know is delusional; not to know is insensitive." This applies very much to the inquisitive nature required of all great recruiters in observing and evaluating talent for a client.
